One of the first combinations to become available after the war, the cabinet is of a simple, almost stark style.  The electronics are basic but high quality:  six-tubes (all the usual ones) with a field coil speaker.  Crosley would shortly embrace the new PM type speaker for most applications, although Crosley TV sets continued to use field coil speakers into the early 50s.

Broadcast, a single short-wave band and automatic changer--music to the ears of peacetime consumers unable to buy anything of the kind for the duration.
