This is probably the most familiar configuration of S-C's Chinese Classic.  An earlier version used a 12" CRT;  later the radio and phono were deleted and the cabinet narrowed when the Chinese Classic became an otherwise ordinary 21" TV.  This version's chassis is very Du Mont-like, with a continuous tuner that was greatly over-engineered:  two entirely separate front ends are used for the lower and upper VHF bands, providing optional connection of a different antenna for each band.  Not-quite-so over engineered deflection section using a single 6BG6 to sweep the face of that big ol' jug.  It manages.
