One of the many fine instruments manufactured by Belmont for Montgomery Ward stores.  Reportedly, this handsome model was sold under the Truetone (Western Auto) name as well as Airline.


The FM band was quite new, but its coverage was well established, so the 87-109 range on the dial scale is a bit odd.  Likewise, the marking of the AM band in hundredths of KC as seen here would not become commonplace for about another ten years.
