GE radios of the 30s don't top anyone's list of the most stylish, but this and similar consoles of their 1939 line have some very nice details and nicely restrained deco styling compared to some of the more extreme designs from Zenith and RCA. 


Long before piano-key presets became de rigueur for sets of European manufacture, they were incorporated into GE radios along with innovative thumbwheel controls for volume and tuning.
