"This is television's most precise instrument," reads the magazine advertisement for this model, noting with truth that it is "built with more tubes, extra-size parts."  Du Mont spared no expense in the crafting of this intricate receiver and even the casual observer could easily see the superior build quality of Du Mont versus one of its competitors.  With doors closed, the cabinet appears identical to the 15" Wellington model.  This set might then be considered its direct--if highly evolved--descendant.

It's not a complete home entertainment center without a three-speed automatic turntable!  Along with a bigger tube came a change in turntable vendors that year from V-M to Webcor.
